Morning...bit late in the morning but morning nonetheless! DS was poorly overnight so tired out today.....
Done banking and scratchies. Scratchies nearing payout soon - woop! few payments gone in and out today so should be able to work out my new figs by the weekend.
Back to the work then....;)DFW Nerd #11520 -
well...we are getting some where...
have just pretty much emptied my saving pots -as the car needs tyres and we r traveling at the weekend to see friends so cant really risk it
Obviously the "car" pot isnt enough to cover this so i have taken it from xmas and birthday fund and will replace it over the next couple of months. We are pretty quiet on the birthday front now until dec anyway.
Just waiting for barclays to update then i will know my debt fig for this month so can update my signature.
Grocery challenge is desperately needed but i dont really have the energy so am going to have to let this one go me thinksoh well i cant win them all. i am not superwoman :rotfl:
Plan for tonight is to carry on with the mountain of work and then have a nice hot soak....DFW Nerd #11520 -
 has it really been four days since I last updated??? OOPS! Time is flying by.....
We are really busy recently in both good and bad ways. OH is working lots, im working lots to catch up, DS has been going different places too. We have also suffered 2 deaths recently which arent people close to us but are close to people who are close to us IYSWIM so just need to be there for them. We are also still dealing with some pretty heavy stuff of our own but we should find out more about that next week which will ease thingsSo I guess MSE is taking a bit of a back burner.
Oh no...i hope martin doesn't worry :rotfl:
Have paid rent today. I am 2 days late paying it and they have sent me a reminder  well cheeky! So i made them wait another couple of days before paying :rotfl: ha ha. they can surely see my payment pattern?:mad::mad::mad:
Lots of things to do...going to do some more work today first...will then start on other things and update figs etc......
hope everyone is having good weekendDFW Nerd #11520 -

Okay - I really must get back into updating on here
:o:o i know I keep saying it but I REALLY MUST. These last few weeks have been so hard, what with some serious family health issues, 4 people we know have passed away as well so all I seem to be doing is talking doom and gloom. So we have all been in a bit of lull.
But...OH/I and DS had a lovely weekend with the family and I think we are *finally* coming through the worst of it. So long as nothing else happens...:mad:
I have been keeping in check with the money thoughdoing scratchies and keeping on top of online banking. We are doing a car boot at the weekend have lots of toys etc to get rid off... so fingers crossed make some cash with that. I need to figure out a plan for -
1/paying TAX bill on time
2/xmas - have already got a few bits but need to get more and i had to use the xmas pot to pay for car bitsbut it wouldnt have been there at all last year so it could have been worse
so i need to start thinking about this NOW
3/tumble dryer - we have decided we really need one. so need to think about this....
Good news is I have made arrangements to pay my old supplier's electric bill - so have another 2 payments to go of 50 quidThey were really nice about it so that is one less stress.
With money we make from the car boot - not sure best thing to do with that yet, guess it depends on how much we make  I guess it will go towards xmas...
Overall, things are looking okay. I have come to the realisation that the debt isnt going to disappear as quickly as I first hoped after LBM but I think as long as it is gone around the time DS starts school (in 2 yrs!) then I will happy. Slowly, slowly as they say and so far snowballer says it is roughly do-able in theory. So its upto me and DH to put it into practice. When I look at our SOA at the moment, there are several things that will either be no longer necessary or will reduce naturally over the next few months, so in my mind I think if we can get through this stage, the next stage will be a bit easier and so on.
But, like I said before, it is up to me and DH to put it into practice
Plan for today is work,DS and a bit of cleaning. Need to figure out plan for the week (yes i know its tuesday already :rotfl:) and start from there.....
Hope everyone is feeling good!! Its raining here....booooooDFW Nerd #11520 -
Its been raining here too BH *sigh*
It took me a bit to realise aswell that just cos the LBM has happened, that dont mean that everything is rosy, but it sure does help with the procrastrinating lol xxPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -
Sorry bowt the rain Kirsten. Its cold here too, winter is definately on its way - oh well, fire is lit and its blooming lovely!!!
OMG - updated twice in one day.
Have paid bills up to date and rent. Going to get a tumble dryer from catologue - they have sent me a 10% voucher with bnpn till september and if its paid off before then you get an extra 5% off. So having looked around this morning anyway it is the best deal with the discount! So thats an unexpected result! Its probably as I haven't ordered anything recently but oh well good news for me!!!!!
So just need to work on xmas and tax....
Well..going to check out the freebies, comps and a few diaries now - have got shamefully out of the habit of reading some diaries!Anyway..sleep tight everyone!

Morning!
Done banking and scratchies...all fine.
plan for today is work and housework!bit boring but needs must.
Have figured out that to pay my tax i need to put by 30 a week so starting from monday I will need to save/make/find or win this and put it in my tax pot! Please nag me on this.
Have sorted tumble dryer - i didnt use bnpl option in the end as when i did the price doubled! So i'll just pay it from next month but least its 0% and i got 10% with free delivery so i'm happy!!
Started doing comps and freebies - need to catch up on some diaries....
have a good day all!!DFW Nerd #11520 -
