my claim Against nationwide

Hello I've just submitted my claim against Nationwide using the template letters and fitting them into my claim for PPI on a loan.
I've had a letter back saying they are looking into the claim and gave a date for a decision.
Does anyone know what usually happens next with Nationwide will they be looking at settling or are they defensive and uphold the claims.
I've got about 3 weeks to wait and anxious to know lol

Hi there
And good luck with this.
If you do get the chance to browse through the threads, I'm sure you will come up with others who have complaints with NW.
Normally they have 8 full weeks to respond, they all vary, they will investigate your complaint with the evidence you have supplied them with in writing to them and also check the information they have on you of when this was sold to you.
Hopefully it will be a good result, but if not do not back down, keep at them, if they do not resolve by the time they issue you with a final decision you should have the opportunity to take your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) who will then take over to investigate.
Please keep us posted and keep on at them, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I've had my reply full refund of premiums paid, loan reduced without having to pay the premiums anymore.
This only took one letter from me. I'm one very happy person today :-)
Thank you to everyone on here that's made it so easy to claim back PPI and helping people :beer:0 -

I would contact them, I know they are possibly taking longer than usual due to all the refunds they are currently dealing with, but ring them and ask, if it goes on too long, you can contact the FOS, maybe they will be able to help, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
