You can call and tell them you want to cancel, after 28 days the contract ends (you lose your number this way).
If you want to take your number to another network, ask them for your pac code, give that to your new network and they transfer your number to them. When the transfer goes through your pld contract ends.
Simply as that !0 -

i would be very precise on the day you give notice to cancel
my friend did this and thought she had got it right and they told her she was one day late!!!make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Some networks will give you the pac code early, but bear in mind if you use it before the end of your contract you'll still be changed by the network to the end of your minimum term.
It's not a way of getting out of paying to the end of your contract...
Also you can terminate OR you can ask for your pac. You can't do both. . .0 -
how come i can only terminate OR take my pac number?
if i only take my pac,the contract will end or?0 -
If you tell the network you want to terminate they'll end the contract and cancel your number.
If you ask for your pac code, when you use it your contract ends and your number is transferred to a the new network.
If you want to keep your number is best to not use the word terminate, if they misunderstand and do terminate your contract there no way to get your number back. . .0 -
Think of a PAC as a 'option to terminate'. If you don't use if after 30 days with your new provider, it expires and your old contract will continue. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

so if i take my PAC number and dont use it anywhere else in 30 days i will stay with the same provider still, wont loose my number ,right?0
