85 pence - so not the end of the world.

Will also be walking home unless I end up buying far too much at Asda tonight (OH is visiting and while I personally can live on Porridge all weekend or tuna mayo pasta - he might get a little upset!).

    Target for Tonight:

Feed OH for two days - preferably buy meals I can join in on but can survive without!

    Will need:
Dinner tonight - I have a stack of pasta at home, and magic homepride pasta bake - need a little bit of cheap ham and preferably cheese and a cheap garlic bread to go with it.
Brekkielunch - Sandwiches? Save some of the ham + cheese from night before and maybe a bit of chicken + the pitta breads I have at home...?
Dinner tomorrow am thinking for me I will have whatever is in the house, him am thinking some kind of micro-meal? Try my chilli again only thicker? That way I only need some more mince and a jar of magic chilli sauce or some kidney beans + spices.

Sunday Brekkie - am out the door ridiculously early and he gets the house to himself that day, so usually I grab a quick coffee and run as it is too early for me to eat!! He will be fending for himself... so will probably sleep throught to lunch
Sunday Lunch - I am still out! Will have my chilli/leftovers on me so I am fed! OH can have, am thinking, a micro-meal. He is less keen on cooking than I am :)
Sunday dinner - Fajitas? Means buying chicken Plus tortillas... generally expensive. Pick up a cheap pizza? Maybe Steak + chips as a treat?

Snacky things: He likes pepsi, crisps etc... gotta try and at least get him something... but I am also not wanting to buy any snacks I would eat - else I will :/

Aiming for expenditure: <£10. Wish me luck!

They never rang me back and haven't rung them back yet - going to ring them soon as i imagine now is there busiest time when pets at Christmas are not longer so appealing...

He can chip in for some of it - but he is also a student still and he has paid for all of his own train ticket to get here so I feel a bit responsible that while he is here I keep him fed. He sometimes buys me little bits here and there or takes me out for lunch/dinner when he is visiting so I also feel that its "even" almost! Although now I force him to choose places where we get 2 for 1 deals!

    Things I have done:

    1) spent a little bit too much this weekend... 19 pounds on Shopping but 4 quid of that was OH wanting randoms from tesco and 6 pounds was a new pair of jeans!! Finally some jeans at a reasonable price!
    2) Today I managed to cut my walking time by 5 minutes!! :j:j Never managed to go faster than 3mph walking speed therefore 40 minutes to walk to work... today it has taken me 35!
    3) Walking back out - hoping to make it about 35 minutes again but we shall see...
    4) Got my loaf of bread in for the week - omnomnom!
    5) I have two free samples of starbucks Via, I have won a free game on xbox live yesterday and won a free ipod touch/iphone game as well! :D

Thinking I should buy a lottery ticket if things keep going on up and up like this!
