no because the postage is £7 + Vat so its only any good for larger stuff or heavy (Up to 30kg)
www.parcel2go.com is who i use then print the postage label and attached they then come to you to collect the parcel.
DVDs arent heavy so royal mail would be the cheapestEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

yeah, definitely it has been mis-sold to you, escalate your papypal claim as soon as you can, she really has no excuse, so they will ask you to send it back to her - trackable means - and then they will refund you, she won't get much of a say in it.0

Unfortunately paypal will hold you responsible for items lost in the post so be careful here. The buyer does not have to wait for you to get your RM refund, that could take weeks and under the new rules that they sometimes enforce they ask for an original receipt before they refund and that is all you get back. Your buyer htough is entitled to a full refund including original postage paid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Asus eee 901s came with either a 20GB or a 12GB solid state drive (SSD). As far as I know, the 901s did not come with a normal HDD (such as the 160GB one would be).chaparritacifuentes wrote: »asus eeepc 901 that I bought off ebay. It clearly stated that it had a 160 hard drive capacity on the description (check it out on http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150356973820 ) but when I got home from a few days abroad and opened the package it turns out it has only 12gb internal hard drive
She is probably getting confused with (or trying to use it as an excuse) the fact that hard drives never have the full amount of GB available once it has been formatted and stuck in a machine.chaparritacifuentes wrote: »She then changes her mind, after acknowledging her mistake and then says that I misundersttod, that when it says 160 hdd capacity it means that it might have that not that it actually has it.!!!! rthat is my problem that i didnt read correctly and that she is not willing to give a full refund, let alone pay for the shipping cost .
Technically, this is because hard drive manufacturers use 1000 bytes to represent a megabyte, whereas a computer uses 1024 bytes. That tiny 24 byte difference multiplied by all the megabytes on the disk can add up to just over 10 Gig loss on a 160 GB drive (my 160 GB drive shows up as 149GB in windows).
But this would not be the reased why a drive advertised as 160GB shows up as 12!
I'm guessing she has copied and pasted the description from another, slightly different model. For example from this 904HA with 160GB hard drive:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3303373844110 -
When I first contact her she did apologized and explain that she copied and pasted the description from the maxtor website and didnt noticed about the 160gb error. I got all the emails though ebay so hopefully they'll be of sme use if asked for more info from paypal.
