I do agree they are pretty pointless but I do think that if they are a legal requirement to have, then I wouldn't want to buy a house where the buyer didn't provide one. It would raise questions to me of
a/what have they got to hide?
b/if they are being dishonest over this aspect of the legal process, what else might they be dishonest about?0 -

True but the important bits it covers were always covered by the legal process anyway it just gets done twice now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
