having browsed through this site on of the few companies that seem to have attracted little or no adverse comment is Dialaphone.
They're not quite as competitive as some of the others but they're worth keeping an eye on.
The deal I'm looking at is the flext with T mobile. Dialaphone seem to be just as competititve as PBD.

MobileShop are very reliable - they currently have on offer Motorola L6 for 12m free on 12m contract (200 mins and 100 txts per month and 1st 3 months is double talk and text = 400 mins and 200 txts).
