move number to o2/ cooling of period ?

when i get my simplicity sim ( 12 month contract) through the post, whats the maximum amount of days do i have to give o2 my pac code .

also how many days do you have to cancel the contact and return the sim ,many thanks

You can transfer at any time with O2.
I'd think you have 7 days to cancel, if your not sure if you want the contract I wait before giving them your pac. It just adds another problem if you change your mind. . .
