Very brave for getting those on purpose. Hasn't it damaged your credit file?
When I got my credit report, I noticed that under a few credit searches, I accidently got my dates mixed up and the 'Time at Address' fields weren't matching up. One application, I stated I lived at my address for x years 5 months... on another application some weeks later, I put x years 3 months. That never triggered any CIFAS.We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Haha - yes mate my credit file is trashed LOL
I applied to halifax (to annoy them) 50 times in one day! I have over 500 searches and 30 defaults, 2 cifas and a N Hunter alert but still have 3 mainstream cards with high limits and 2 full bank accounts.
Its how you deal with it that counts. When I told HSBC what I was doing they nearly fell off their chairs but believed me and gave me the account applied for. Got a £3k credit card with them last month with all the above defaults etc on my file....
The defaults by the way are not mine, these are from an incorrect link which is what is mentioned on the cifas entries as the reason for refusal.
Anyway........ I have fun annoying the lenders and causing them bother lol
What you done will have no effect, not many people know the exact dates they lived at their address and so this is taken lightly in all credit assessments unless material facts occur, like my cifas examples, i blatently lied so it flagged up. A year or two out of line wouldn;t matter cos they can see you do live there with electoral roll. Its not that serious at all. Not like saying I lived somewhere that I just never!
* To explain, I got incorrectly linked to an address and then as a result I started to use this as my previous address and this causes trouble cos they already know what my previous address was. But they wouldn;t remove the link so what choice did I have, in order to find out what was being held about me on their systems I had to pretend to live there - they know I never but won't remove the link so I pretend I did to wind them up. When I take them to court they will soon realise i've been winding them up for the last 2yrs all cos of their stupidity!
remove the incorrect link and i'll behave - until then i'll be a thorn in their side.2010 - year of the troll

LMAO 50? That sounds like something I'd do if I was drunk and in posession of a computer. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

well yea ermm, I done it out of spite and it worked cos they wrote asking me to please stop. They realised after 50 cifas entries that it wouldn't help and so agreed to remove them if I stopped applying - I did but one remains which to be fair, they said I did deserve! lol

Hiya
No it doesn't, you'll know cos you'll probably be getting declined yet your credit report will be clean - at which point i'd suggest sending SAR to N Hunter.
Similarly, not all cifas are registered with the CRA's - they can be hidden in that unless you SAR cifas you'll never know you have one. Rase as they are, they are present so watch out for this one as well.2010 - year of the troll
