Mum definately doesn't want to go with an 18 month contract as it is her first time with broadband so we may have to look at having it separately...

Pipex are no longer Pipex OP, they were taken over by Tiscali and recently Tiscali sold to Carphone Warehouse. We were with Pipex for 12 years until Tiscali came on the scene and then customer service went horribly downhill. Won't bore you with the year long details but we left at the end of contract March 2008 and joined Zen Internet for £17.61 on a monthly contract, this is BB only, not a package. They email the contract and DD at the beginning of every month. They are brilliant, and have UK customer service, no problems since leaving Pipex at all. HTH
