Madasafish price is about the same as BT at £29. As already advised, it's a BT company, so that's not surprising. All the other services on your exchange than TT are BT Wholesale, so the package and prices will all be similar., the same as you are paying now or more.
The only way you will get a cheaper package is to go for the sole LLU provider, which is TT at about £22 with an Anytime phone package.
If not then just go for a separate broadband package (try Namesco, bb packages starting at £10.95 http://www.names.co.uk/adsl.html) and a BT line rental and Anytime tcalls package at around £16. That would still mean you are paying only marginally more than the currrent £26, but with broadband included.
Thanks Macman for all your help is is much appreciated...
Mum definately doesn't want to go with an 18 month contract as it is her first time with broadband so we may have to look at having it separately...0 -
Pipex are no longer Pipex OP, they were taken over by Tiscali and recently Tiscali sold to Carphone Warehouse. We were with Pipex for 12 years until Tiscali came on the scene and then customer service went horribly downhill. Won't bore you with the year long details but we left at the end of contract March 2008 and joined Zen Internet for £17.61 on a monthly contract, this is BB only, not a package. They email the contract and DD at the beginning of every month. They are brilliant, and have UK customer service, no problems since leaving Pipex at all. HTH0

Have a look here, 30 day contract, phone and broadband packages available, fantastic small company that is always at the top of the customer satisfaction league at ThinkBroadband.
Freefone helpline, UK based staff that know their stuff, highly reliable.
I have been with them for almost 3 years and would not go anywhere else.
