panansonic are making very good cameras now.

It's £179.99 at Amazon incidentally, but obviously this is still better. It seems to be coming down in price at the moment as as there is a newer model out called the FX01. That one is basically the same as the FX9 but has a wide-angle lens. The FX01 is available for around £220.

For £149.99 this is a brilliant deal IMHO.

Quick question to all you guys who have brought one, does it take sharp pictures most of the time?.
I've got an old sony and its very easy to take blurry pictures, I'm not sure if its because of camera shake or low light, I've had my eye on panasonic cameras because of there "mega OIS (stability)" thing, if its as good as advertised it sounds pretty useful.

I've been investigating cameras for my friend for a couple of weeks and based on the reviews I recommended this camera to him even when the cheapest you could get it was £217. Now Comet and Amazon have come down. Great deal!

Just received delivery of a 2gig SD card from 7dayshop.com which is a bargin at £37 and it's a 133x speed card.

Very happy (albeit another unplanned c.£200 out of pocket... online shopping... and they said it would never take off).

This has got me slightly worried. I posted a message on the dpforum and no one has replied though so I'm not sure.
