I saw one in my local Comet today in the glass cabinet, and it is a beatiful looking camera, but not sure if the instore price is the same as online.

The Leica lens makes the Panasonic cameras stand out from the crowd.

The camera gets a good review http://www.steves-digicams.com/2005_reviews/fx9.html

The only thing is it dosent have an optical viewfinder so in bright light you may not be able to see the screen and make it useless

Don't think this is a misprice as the item description makes reference to the actual model, specifications and original price. They knew what they were doing when this went up so it's not a computer glitch.

I've just returned from my local comet and its definitely not a misprice. A very nice looking camera, and at that price very tempting.

    Good camera.

Did a price compasion and £200 was the next cheapest.

John Lewis do sell it for £300.

So half price seems a fair call.

I am looking at the z7 at £280 as i need the 12 x zoom

panansonic are making very good cameras now.
