Anyone else sick to the back teeth of this bloody swine flu thing? We've had someone with a bit of a cold go home after doing the NHS online thing (and probably ticking the wrong box as it came up 'dial 999 - you need an ambulance  ), phone their GP who says (without seeing them, not taking their temperature or do a blood test ) say 'you have it' after ticking a few boxes, prescribe tamiflu, so knock on panicking is now taking place - should staff come in if they have kids, are all those in the same room as her now infected........jeez.........get a grip folks.......
sorry, rant over..........too many years working in a hospital seeing very ill people getting on with life and not letting a bit of a cold send them into a panic
totally agree with you!! i was having a brew last week with someone with a confirmed case, i am still alive (after 9am:D)
they don't publish the fact that we lose this number of people every year due to 'normal' flu anyway....yawwwwwwnnnnnnnnn i will be glad when its over.
but hey if you don't hear from me again in a long time time you never know oink oink :rotfl:0 -
that is laughable becca............it's like the one I read the other day about the person worried that there wouldn't be enough removal men to move their stuff if they all got ill........

I wouldn't worry about it too much...........did you see dispatches on Channel 4 about someone working undercover for the DCA Marlin? They were complete shiesters at times.

Wow lenza that is impressive

Not really but its got complicated at my house - got visitors staying agreed with flatmates in advance and they forgot and said one of their Dads could stay on the Sunday night - so since me and OH will have run a 1/2 marathon that day we thought it would be nice to get a nice hotel instead or trying to fit three of us in our front room!0 -
