Is it Mefanamic acid or something like that? A friend of mine has just been prescribed it and was asking if it works - I've heard reasonably good reports from others I know who have taken it.
Hadn't heard of Norethistone - will investigate - thanks!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
apparently Depo can also have the complete opposite effect :eek: (and I had an awful experience with the mini pill at 19) which is why I asked for something very specifically for this and I didn't want to chance it on holiday !!!

Well they never told me that
Luckily mine have stopped already and I've only had one so far - second due in a few weeks!0 -
I'm scared of taking anything that will mess with my hormones, I seem to be a bit precariously balanced as far as sanity goes, and I lose the plot very easily if anything interferes with my hormones! :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

that's right Snags - mefa thingy wotsit acid. I have read the leaflet though and apparently it's an anti inflammatory...
...not quite sure how that will work.
I hope it works, but going back on the pill isn't the end of the world (guess I'd have to explain to OH why it was in the house when he was rummaging for headache tablets/indigestion tablets etc :rotfl: ). I took it for 14 years without any problems, the only slight one being the one I used is now defunct but there is an exact replica available. I only stopped because there was obviously no need for it

I was on Trinordial and it didn't affect me in any way, it was excellent in all ways. Apparently, it's now called Logynon but it's from a group called something like tri-faesics (tri-something, anyway)
