Hi Does anyone know if Garmin XT or route66 will work with this phone? I am currently using garmin xt on my nokia n95 and it works well. Your user experience with GPS on Sony ericsson w995 will be much appreciated.

garmin xt wont and route 66 is doubtful.The only ones that will is java based like wayfinder,nav4all and amazegps, but they will need a internet connection which costs.0

but it is wifi enabled so could you not download free of charge from a wireless router?0

You can use Trekbuddy. You can download the maps before and then no internet connection required.0
