please can some one help me set up my router to pc

i am trying to get my pc to work wireless but cant remember which way the wires go or even where the wires go
i had it set up last year
i got as far as router to modem
then is it the pc to router?
help asap please

the sequence is PC - router - modem - phone/cable socket

Are you trying to connect to your router so that you can set the wireless up?

What make/model is your router and modem? Are you on cable or ADSL(phone line) broadband?

Good tip, take photos of how the wires are now. Print the photos and keep them safe.
