Katt, I'm still around, for my part I'm just trying to not be so reliant, people come and go, things happen. I hope this thread will run and run, like a soap (:eek:) with a constantly changing cast, I might be the Ken:o. Always open to a PM if you fancy a chat.

Thank you for posting Martin and I agree with what you are saying. It doesn't matter what has been going on behind the scenes (and no one really understands what has gone on, or cares). The important thing is that the thread continues and people continue to support each other. Please everyone keep posting on here. I received such wonderful support from people when I posted and would hate to see it close. If you are struggling with alcohol problems or know someone who is, please talk to us. Martin has kindly allowed this thread to continue even though it is not a money saving issue and I thank him for that.

I have not been visiting this thread for a few days as my father is in hospital with leukaemia and by the time I got back from visiting I was shattered.

I am assuming the trolls have been back.

Please do not let them grind you down - you are all trying so hard and deserve better than that.

You have all helped a lot of people who may not have been able to post on the thread but were helped just by reading it.

Thanks Elona. Things have been very difficult on here recently, thread has been sabotaged by people with their own agenda and many people found it difficult to post. Don't quite know what was going on but, as Martin said, thread will continue. Beer started this thread to try and reach people who were struggling with alcohol dependency and their families and friends. Nothing anyone can do to stop us supportimg each other now.
