harrie/shirl, hang in there Glad will be on later to tidy up the thread, don't let a few grind you down. If they have nothing better to do of an evening than spoil one thread on MSE they are pretty sad people.

Hi all,

I know that I haven't posted on here for a long time and certain people (name/s withheld) do not like or trust me - but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I have just read through some of the thread and wanted to say that there will always be that minority who hate their lives so much that they will try and put a spanner in the works of those who want to help themselves.

Don't let the *******'s win and everybody keep posting.

In the true style of MSE....if this thread helps one person to stop drinking or to ease off it then that is saving money as we all could do with more of the mighty pound.

Talking about your feelings and youir problems is only the first step but the most important of all.... we all have to start somewhere.

All those who go to the AA meetings...good for you.... all those who don't .... it may be worth a try .....what have you got to lose.

Anyways enough of my rantings........

Hope you all have a great Easter :easter: :EasterBun :icotbaske if you do or do not drink over this period just remember to keep yourself safe.

Thanks for that warning about Lurkers and there are plenty about.I,m Moderator of site I set up along with a girl who was in States at time although she came from Scotland.We have to be very carefull who joins group because there are sick folk out there who think they can come into site and find vulnerable folk,either male or female.
Before you know it they are trying too meet up with folk and been a few really bad cases of abuse.Thats not what AA is about and if folk want that kind of thing they should go to other sites where it is catered for.Trouble is they cant find folk who are so vulnerable there
