Morning Kaz Shirl and mich
kaz, thats great you've done a week.
Mich your right, doesn't that make you a great grannie then shirl
Some people were up a bit late then! Shirl, how do you survive on so little sleep, I only get about 6 hrs, if I'm lucky...........:) (small child you know) and thats just about enough to keep me going.
Hope you are all OK, got to go and read a book with little one, so see you in a bit. Had some really.....really weird dreams last night, left all my tools in a hotel in London after doing a job there and then couldn't get back in because it was closed, then there were lost dogs and water cannons involved........and other stranger stuff.
:rotfl:
See you in a short while.“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -

I know mich, woke thinking they were reality...... wondering how I was going to get the tools back, or if they'd been stolen, cos we went back and couldn't find them.................. then I realised they were in my lounge.......... :rotfl: daft sod.
I wish I could remember the other stranger stuff, but I've forgotten already.........................
There was a porter involved, I seem to remember we went out and got !!!!!!........although I could be wrong about that, can you get !!!!!! in your dreams?“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -
Hiya to every one hope you are all well.
Some thing really strange struck me the other day and it may seem silly to some and i hope i wont upset anyone i am just asying how i felt at the time. I was at a family gathering and we have 2 alcholohics. 1 is my cousin who is fine all day then drinks herself into a stuper in the evening she is whitty and funny and friendly an gets more so with a drink in her. The second is my birth mother #1 who is never without a drink and is basically drunk from when she gets up until she passes out Alcohol make her nasty, aggressive and violent.
Now every one was talking about my mother saying they were trying to help her and she needs to get her self sorted out (also alot of people have given up on her) so on and so forth however my cousin is just left to her own devises and nobody seems to worry about her at all let alone try to help her just wondered if any body else had witnessed this happen as well. It made me quite angry as yes my mom needs help but surley so does my cousin she cannot be that happy if she feels the need to drink like she does. Do you think i should try and get involved ( we are not that close) maybe she just needs a ear and a shoulder to cry on. The other problem is my mom#1 is a very jelouse person and i worry if i do get involved that she could make things worse for my cousin as she can cause a lot of trouble when she wants to. Her latest trick is turn up at the hospital my mom (the one who brought me up and loked after me) is at drunk and start shouting the staff have warned that she will not be allowed back into the hospital if she keeps turning up in such a state but have allowed some leway as my mom #2 is on her death bed.
goodness graciouse why is life so complicated.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Kaz the sweating and dreams are the drink coming out, no doubt, be aware, that after you go through all this, if you start drinking alot again, you'll have to go through it all again.........
Personally I think you did the right thing by turning down the pills, if you can do without, then try to continue like that. If you need them then have them, once you start though.........difficult to stop.
It DOES get better, you can ask anyone on here, takes a different time for everybody, but it does get better eventually and every day you don't drink, means you will have a chance at a longer and better life.
xx

Morning
Come on this morning to say sorry to Shirl for disrupting the thread last night. That wasn't my intention and I am sorry.
I also owe Spikey a big fat apology too, I did get the wrong impression as I initially thought you were taking the mick.
Hope you all have a nice extended week end.
I'll go and sit in the naughty corner.:silenced:Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0 -
