3 Mobile £150 Deposit ... Help!

Hi all, Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere. I did search but nothing immediately shows up.
Anyway!
So ill try keep this brief! Just over 5 years ago a young 21 yr old me walked into a superdrug store and was approached by a 3 mobile salesmen. Long story short i wanted a acontract phone and failed the credit check. NOT A PROBLEM SIR! £150 pounds later i was told id be given my deposit back at the end of the contract.
13 Months later (1 month after the contract had expired) I recieved an unexpected phone bill which i disputed as id binned the sim card ..... this dispute for money i did not owe went on for a year ... then finally i spoke to someone with an English accent who apologised and wiped the debt completely ... i forgot about the deposit.
Then a couple of Months ago i recieved a great big red threatening letter from Lowell Portfolio claiming i still owed £100 ... i called my old friends 3 (its great to see the customer service is still shocking) and they said yes you still owe .... so i said well you lot still owe me £150 deposit. "You can claim that back sir once the outstanding balance is cleared" .... So i left it for a while then i recieved another letter stating pay a settlement fee of £50 ... so i thought ill pay £50 and then ill claim back £150 ..... apparently not!! One month on after paying the settlement fee I am still trying to get 3 mobile to send me my deposit. Ive been told 3 times that they will investigate it and then someone will call me back in 48 hrs ... then they dont. I jus got off the phone to another guy who now says The payment of £50 is now showing as paid and all i have to do is get a bank statment with proof that i paid this deposit 5 years ago and send that to them.
Something tells me it wont be that easy ... in fact im expecting them to say you only paid £50 and not the full amount so your claim for the deposit is now VOID!
Has anyone here got any advice or similar experience with this shoddy lot!!

pretty sure this company were on Watchdog a couple of months ago...do a google search with Lowell and Watchdog...
I am sure it was 3 that was used as well....0 -
Lowell Portfolio often get mentioned on here, :eek:as far as the debt is concerned probaly best forum to post on for advice is here.

Just issue a court summons against them and they soon act fast...

How do i go about issuing a court summons? Oh and i've just emailed that email address. So fingers crossed
