I just logged on to their website and it said "Sorry the sale has now ended" - considering it only officially started at 8am that must have been the quickest sale in british retail history0

Is it me or is it a bit, well....... rubbish?
Out of the 5 items in my basket last night, 1 has been reduced by £2.00, 1 has vanished and the rest are still full price...... 1 of the items was a coat in the "exclusive online sale 30% off" and that's now back to full price You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

Just do standard delivery, otherwise you probably won't get anything. Happened to me twice! I think they wait until the day you have selected to pack up your bag, then ooops everything has sold out. Grrrr :mad:0

I have placed 2 separate orders adding a school dress and both times it only takes a percentage off the postage...80 odd pence. I have emailed them though and waiting a reply. Typical M&S online service to be honest. I am fully expecting several emails to tell me items have gone out of stock over the next few days.0

I added socks. you have to put the code in for free delivery on schoolwear, but the first time I put it in it only removed around a pound, which will be the VAT saving. I entered the same code again, and it took the £3.50 off.
I noticed schoolwear in the sale, just girls things though.52% tight0

When I checked out with my school socks added, I noticed that they had changed my delivery date by around 5 days! I assume by then all my sale items would have been out of stock!
So I deleted the socks, but my order still showed the discount on delivery, and does in the email they sent 52% tight0 52% tight0

I just gave them a quick call about the £3.50 delivery charge - saying that I had originally spent over £150 but everything kept going out of stock in my basket. Anyway the man kindly said he would take off the £3.50.
Expected to be kept on hold for ages - but my call went straight through.0
