If it has installed correctly you should have red O on your taskbar or/and desktop, click on that.

Hello. Have you clicked on the Opera icon to start up the browser? - you obviously don't need IE or Firefox anymore.

If yes, then it seems strange that Yahoo / BT is still your homepage. To change this go to "preferences" or "options" in the top menu bar of Opera, and there you will find the place to change your homepage (which you can put anything in obviously)

You can't have Opera as your home page, Opera is a web browser, not a website. You can set any home page you like in the menu: Opera>Preferences>General tab.

I have downloaded Opera 9 again and installed same but it still showing Opera Beta format page.
Had message from IE saying it has stopped this download so I chose to install and went through the whole procedure again, but nothing has changed! I have the Icon, the Opera 9 programme is on my computer, so what is going wrong?

    Opera Browser 9.64 direct download

Uninstall whatever it is that you have installed and begin again.

Have you run the Malwarebytes' AntiMalware scan as advised earlier?
