Best credit card uk customer service

Can anyone recommend which credit card has uk call centres, which give correct info and good service, we'd also like to be able to view transactions online easily. Not bothered about the apr as it will always be paid in full, just want a company that can sort out any problems should they arise and not have to be put through to an indian call centre where we can't really understand each other.

The Royal Bank of Scotland stable (which includes Lombard Direct, Mint, NatWest, Tesco & Ulster Bank, as well as RBS itself) provides good online services and telephone back-up. No overseas call centres.

Nationwide are very good to deal with, their call centre is based in Wakefield, and their online system is nice and clear.
I used to have a Capital One card but cancelled it due to many a run in with their overseas call centre.0 -
MBNA - good service (so long as you keep to the agreement), friendly and helpful UK staff, great online access, wide range of cards and offers, allow you to port credit limits between cards so you can make the best of cheap deals etc.
Steer clear of Capital One if you value helpful UK-based access.You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -
I really rate Amex for customer service, both online and on the phone. Always local call centres, answered quickly and I've NEVER had to call them back about anything ever, always fixed first time. Some people are put off by the fact not everywhere accepts them, but for me it's fab. I typically only use it in supermarkets, petrol stations etc and pay it off in full.
I like the perks, but it is each to their own.0 -
Tesco customer services for their credit card are excellent.Always very nice friendly staff and very helpfull.They are the best I have dealt with.UK based too which I believe makes a major difference,in my experience anyway.

Egg Money team are fantastic. I have no hesitation ringing them up for a chat for anything relating to my card. Even their replies to your secure messages get a friendly response with a hint of personal attention thrown in for free."Click the pennies. Collect the pounds."0
