I currently am on 02 35 on an 18 month contract with 500 text messages but this is not enough and i dont have any till my new lot are due on 8/8. Any chance i can add a bundle of text messages know o2 used to do this but im not sure. Was even thinking of getting an o2 simplicity to tide me over till my new messages are due.
Thanks for the advice xx

If you're on a standard 18 month contract tariff with 600 minutes or more, you can choose the Unlimited Text Bolt Ons as a treat from O2 .( iPhone is excluded)0

there are some mobile Java programs that send an equivalent via data, such as mobisms, smsbug, Vyke and Fishtext, the last being cheapest at a couple of pence a message, plus O2 would charge you under half a penny per message for the data
but if you intend to regularly use hundreds extra, then look at larger O2 bundles0 -
I used to do this all the time, until I got unlimited texts.
Be aware that if things are still as they were a few months ago, adding a bolt on won't take affect until next month anyway.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
I just want to get some more messages until i get my new lot of message on 8th august. Im going to add a bolt on then for unlimited text messages then but need some now0

So the simplicity sim for a month or a payg sim seems a good solution.0 -

Just for being noisy: How can you write 500+ messages in less than 2 weeks time? I am much quicker calling someone.....
Thats 50 messages per day.... I would try to use my time more "usefull" :rolleyes:0 -

It may seem a bit of an obvious question and it isn't supposed to be rude, but why didn't you do this in the first place? O2 are much better placed to evaluate your custom than any 3rd party on this forum.0 -
Very confused - so what actually happens if you try and send a text? I always thought it was 500 *free* texts, so surely if you just kept texting it would just start charging you for them? Or are you actually stopped from sending more?0
