    I don't claim any authority.

If anyone is acting above their lowly station it is you. Why do you think the no advertising rules are for the rest of us and not you?

    No need for the bold/underline.

You keep accusing me of pretending to be a mod here. That is ironic, as were this forum moderated, then your rule breaking behaviour and abuse of the sites pm system would have resulted in a ban long ago.

Regarding your "deal", you know this is covered by the MSE rules specifically, and comes under the no advertising allowed rule, so why persist with that argument?

If you think you have a genuinely good deal please contact a Board Guide for the board you’d like to post it on. If they agree with you they’ll contact the MSE Team and it will be considered. Any final decision will be that of the MSE Team. Please do not question the response with the Board Guide

You are shown (again) the rule where your specific case is covered by the rules which we all agree to when joining here.

In addition we know you are happy to abuse the pm system to tout for business whenever you spot a possible sale.

And your response is to admit your rule breaking and repeat and repeat that your detractors should leave you alone! And again boast to us how you keep to the FSA rules whilst happy to break the MSE rules. Just why should you be so special and allowed to use the site like this?

You join the rest of us who stick rigidly to the no advertising rules which keeps this forum so different and you'll be left alone!

Bupa are a bunch of crooks.
They tried to charge me for an element of treatment that was in an all-inclusive service I paid for.
The consultant said it was included, but they kept insisting, and passed it on to a debt collection agency, who tried hounding me too.
Eventually the consutant's secretary went personally to the finance dept and had them clear the item from their system.

Basically, read the small print and don't take anything they say at face value or make assumptions.

I am helping advise people on a subject i'm a specialist in AND helping people save money on this site which is a money saving site last time i checked.

Justify it however you wish - you are using this site to make sales which is against the ethos (and more importantly the rules) of this site.

Bupa are far from a bunch of crooks but are rather an insurance company, and just like any insurance company they are in the business of making money.

There own policies dictate that not everything is covered – as detailed in there own literature. Just because a consultant turns round and says “oh yes it’s all included” doesn’t mean it will be. For instance out patient drugs and dressings are not covered, certain medical procedures are not covered, non authorised extensions of stays in hospital are not covered.

With regards to Bupa passing things onto a debt collection agency, this would not happen as if Bupa have not paid a bill they themselves would not be after payment, so you will find it would have been the provider – hospital – that passed the account onto a debt collection agency. Your end result was probably the consultant secretary piling the blame onto Bupa themselves to save face (I’ve worked in private hospitals and seen this happen all to often)

Back to the matter at hand, with regards to termination of cover following redundancy please whatever you do don’t assume cover will continue to the end of the month as many corporations/companies will actually terminate cover from the day employment ends. Best tip check with your companies HR department on their own policy with regards to the matter.
