Jet2 ... Check In At Airport Or Online? ... Any advantage?

In typical non-MSE style I booked a package (flights/accom/transfers) and having looked at the booking on Jet2, this includes airport check-in.
Ordinarily with a scheduled airline I'd check in online as early as possible, but having paid for the priviledge of checking in at the airport, I just wondered if any regulars with Jet2 knew if there was any advantage in checking in at the airport with regards to seat allocation?

If you check in online, you are given a seat number which you cannot change, unless you pay the prebooked seat charge. We also got seats right at the back of the plane, and not together by checking in online.
I would imagine you would have more of a choice if you were to check in at the airport.0 -
I've just checked in online for a flight in 27 days and got seats together 4 rows from the back. I was a bit worried after hearing other people saying they got seats apart.0

This happened to me too:mad:
I decided to pay to change the allocated seat because it was right at the back of the plane!
A sneaky way to get a bit more money out of the customer I think!!0
