Opinions on these three phones please

Hi,

Looking for a phone for my daughter. Requirements touchscreen, camera and music (but not to extent of needing a SE actual music phone IYNWIM).

Have to say the Cookie is the one she has her eye on but just wanted opinions. I guess the touchscreen is THE thing of the moment.

Checked with the Cookie but not othertwo and it is unlocked so would just buy cheapest and swap sims for our preference.

I work in the customer centre of a mobile network and have found the cookie is the one that gets returned most often at the moment. OH has the tocco light. It's a very nice looking phone and is easy to use. Has some good features. Can't comment on the viewty though.

Thanks for that - important to note as dont want a hassle. Does the tocco have a similar touch screen ie. what can be done va that etc as the cookie

My hubbie has the viewy and its rubbish where as my friend has just got the Tocco Lite and its looks and feels really nice

Been reading some reviews of the tocco lite saying when on a call person talking to you can't hear hear you. Lots of reports this is on O2 sim's and / or phones from CPW but not sure if it is a network issue or actually a problem with the phone. My plan would be to buy cheapest (from CPW as £79.99 at mo) and change sim to Tesco mobile.

Anyone any experience of this problem?

My daughter's cookie lasted 4 months. It stopped charging,and when we got it back unrepaired from CPW, the engineer said it was user damage. The week before, she'd tried to put the charger in, met slight resistance, and realised it was upside down. This took about a second to ruin the phone.She'd been so careful with the phone. One of her friend's had one and the screen broke when it was on a desk, untouched by anything. My daughter loved it , but she wants a phone to last longer than a few weeks.

I actually have the cookie (on monthly tariff) i've only had it a few months and so far have had no trouble with it but i don't use it much. There are a few things that are annoying as it is touch screen but after a few hours working it out it's not too bad.

My husband had the viwety and didn't like it (far too fiddley) and traded it in for a nokia n95 which he loved!

I have a viewty. Good music player, great camer, touchscreen is easy to use. My only problem is with a full 4gb micro sd it takes a while to load up.
its think its a great phone.
bit of an odd shape tho.
