Frustratingly, received an email last night from BMI informing us that all Cardiff flights (end of Sept onwards) to Menorca have been cancelled, despite their website showing we had the last 2 seats on our flight when we booked on-line just 3 weeks ago . All this after the anouncement, at the end of June, of extra flights to Menorca until 29th October ref: http://pr-usa.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=230776&Itemid=33

Don't understand this, particularly if we had the last 2 seats .... oh well, that's the 'joy' of self booking/arranging holidays I suppose!! That's our accommodation deposit gone!!!:o

Can you not book flights with a different airline?

Perhaps check https://www.avro.com https://www.thomsonfly.com https://www.flythomascook.com https://www.charterflight.co.uk you might find something from Cardiff or Bristol

Always possible, but with ThomsonFly also cancelling flights to Menorca, makes you wonder whether Menorca will be 'open' .

Seems it has mainly summer only resorts, so would expect 'summer only' businesses to close towards the end of September.

Mmmmm!! Wonder what's going on at BMI/Cardiff ....... first all the Menorca flights cancelled, which they introduced mid June, and now Alicante flights.:rolleyes:
