Why oh why did I do that mystery shop today. It was at an independant jewellers and I saw and tried on the most gorgeous diamond ring I have ever seen in my life. It was pure perfection. The problem was it's £1,915

I want it, I want it, I WANT IT. No, hang on a second, I NEED IT!!!

I have now pledged to myself that when I get debt free, I will save up and buy myself a diamond ring like that. Which is more of an incentive than ever to get debt free!!

So I did that mystery shop for £15 and have come back to find another 3 that I can accept for £24 in total :j.

I am now getting my stuff together for the carboot tomorrow. Have quite a bit so hoping to clear £50. Need to get a move on as the X Factor is on soon.

Well, the carboot was cancelled . I got up at 5.30am and everything . I don't think I will do another one now. Will try and sell what stock I can and give the rest away on Freecycle I think.

I did manage to complete my £3 survey today (which is technically classed as a mystery shop) and have also listed 20 items on Ebay.

    Goodnight x

Hi Em, sorry to hear about the carboot but very well done for getting things listed on Ebay, I have really got to get on with that after 2 years of saying I am going to!

And don't buy yourself diamonds, find a rich man to do that for you (and if you find him pass him up this way to buy me some too!) xx

    Hi everyone

I thought I would post earlier today so that I'm not nearly falling asleep. I'm going to try and go to sleep earlier tonight so I am fresh for the start of september tomorrow :D.

I have decided that I need a debt free date to look forward to so I am going to be debt free in 1,000 days from tomorrow which works out as 28th May 2012. I am going to cross off the days and title all my daily diary posts as day 1, day 2 etc. Conveniently, I have 10 debts in total so will need to clear a debt every 100 days.

I actually think I am going to clear 2 in the next 100 days as my Barclaycard is nearly gone :j and I'm in the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge so I will be saying goodbye to my Capital One card at the end of this challenge.

Need to have a tidy up tonight as the house is a mess again.

Whoops, forgot to post yesterday as was knackered. Got a good sleep though.

    So my progress yesterday was:

    AQA - £15/£450
    Surveys - £3/£10

I have got loads of mystery shopping lined up. I'm only counting fees and am going to count it when I actually receive it but am so far waiting for or have booked £176.50 worth of jobs :j. This doesn't include around £40 worth of reimbursements for freebies too. I think I must have at least 1 job every day for about 2 weeks though!

    Will post more later.
