Tell your bank it's fraudulent, make an appointment with the CAB, see if you can get a free half hour with a solicitor. B******* to 'nothing they could be done about it.'!0

Go onto your ebay, then account and see if there is a sellers account there - it sounds as if your account has been hijacked or someone has got hold of your bank details to use for their own account.
I would be on the phone to ebay first thing in the morning - they will see from your account that you do not sell - you were obviously talking to a dimwit so ring and speak to someone else.0 -
the woman at the bank told me that i prob wont get it back, that they cant make a claim to paypal. i hadnt thought of going to CAB , will do that in morning, thank you0

iv just been on my ebay account and theres no sellers account so hopefully ebay will see this when i ring in morning, i just hope i get my money back , lucky for me my mums transferred a couple of hundred quid into my account so i can at least eat and pay my bills while they sort it out. thanks for advice0 -
The woman at the bank is not best placed to know how ebay works frankly.
Get hold of ebay live help immediately, if they aren't 24/7 then do it first thing tomorrow. You have been either been hacked or fallen for a phishing email.
If is is a hack then you need to urgently sort out your PC security otherwise thsi could keep happening so go over to techie board and find out how to do a complete clean.
Then while you are waiting for live help look through the spam settings on your email account , it is not uncommon for a hacker to gain access via a web based account and arrange for ebay/paypal emails to be junked so that you don't notice. You don't pay fees if you don't list things
If you are seriously paying fees without having anything for sale then you have left something live that has a recurring charge, did you ever have a shop and could you have left it open or something?
One of my older selling accounts (approx 4000 feedback) is currently dormant as I am waiting to start a new line of items and have postponed until after my holidays..so I pay no fees at all. I shan't pay a penny until I start listing again in a month or so.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
