  • Just a note of caution. I ordered a Dell system from Public Health end November and had the order cancelled when they would not give me the free delivery that had been posted on this site.
Two days ago I received an email from Dell confirming my order I had placed on 31/12. I didn't order any PC - not been near Dell site since beginning December. Strange thing is PC config matched config from end-Nov with the better price I wanted. It's as though Dell resurected an order out of the ether.
    This happened to anyone else?

    Yes me!

Also ordered at the same time as Escapee (Dell 2700) end Nov. Heard nothing, forgot about it (after emailing them). Checked hotmail a few days ago (address I barely use) and find a pdf confirmation of the order! Damn thing gets delivered today! £421 on my Barclaycard! Thing is I didnt budget for this and now am a bit short so have emailed them with a complaint!

Babybimbles - I reckon you've saved about £250 compared to the price they're quoting today for the same kit! :D
