how do i rotate a video that i recorded

dose any 1 how i can rotate it go to straight up
as its showing sideways
kinda hard to explain
I recorded the video from my mobile but set it wrongly an i would to keep the videos but not to that viewing when the video was recorded i film it from top to bottomg an then save it
the phone we use was a samsung g600

Do you mean rotate it in the phone or on a PC? If you're editing the movie in Windows Movie Maker it's pretty easy, there are rotate 'effects' in the effects list, simply drag the effect onto the clip and bobs-yer-whotsit.Out on blue six..
