I sold an old Tales of the Riverbank VHS for about £12 last year but I notice they have started to plummet price wise.

I still log onto various sci fi forums and am still surprised at the huge prices people expect for their sci fi VHS tapes, for people watching so much about the future they do appear to live in the past. It is not uncommon for people to advertise box sets of Buffy or Babylon 5 along the lines of 'I paid £39.99 for this in 2001 and only want £25 now--hurry buy now'. Only last month someone was aksing £2 a piece for old Blake's 7 vids (plus actual postage costs to be added) when much as I love the programme the vids are really only useful for landfill now.

Too true. I still have some Professionals tapes which have the original opening titles that don't appear on the DVD's. But now I see that poundland are selling DVD's with two episodes on each disc!

When I originally bought the VHS tapes, which have two episodes on, they were £14!
