Just wanted to ask, are deals such as 12months free line rental on a 12 month contract common?, I saw some posts and was thinking about going for them however I really want a PDA type phone, hence if these deals are sort of regular then I'm in no hurry, but I have no idea as you probably guessed i'm new to all this mob phone stuff

Yes, they are pretty constant. But how good they are does vary a bit - before Christmas and Valentine's Day predictably they weren't as good as just now, and the really good offers do sell out quickly after word gets around forums0
