myself AT Three !!

I phoned them a few wks ago about lowering my price plan as money is getting tight. I was told i'd have to pay £10 to do so. Instead, i decided just to cancel my internet access saving £2.50.

Did some sums and decided to pay £10 today and lower price plan. Rang them up, spoke to "customer service advisor" and was told this was not possible as i hadn't been in my contract for 9mths, it started in april 09 according to them. Whereas, i thought it started in January when i received my new phone and changed the price plan.

Anyhow, after diggin my heels in apparently the advisor who said about the 10 quid, as something is noted on my account about me asking, will be phoning me to go ahead with it, if they accept they said it.

I've been with Three 6yrs and NEVER had a problem, but they are really making me  it literally depends who u get at the other end of the phone!!

To be honest I didn't think you could downgrade at all within the minimum contract period of either 12 or 18 months with 3.

On your previous contract did you upgrade in month 15? That would explain the discrepency in how long you believe the contract has been running.

Anyhow they phoned me back, downgraded me to 300 min/txt price plan which will come to £22 a mnth and waived the admin fee of £10.

I'm saving roughly £6 a mnth which is fine by me!

Hopefully they'll learn that all staff should sing from the same hymn sheet in the future!
