Thats a very definite response! Reviews on GSM Arena etc. seemed to be largely positive from what I could see.

Waht turned you off it so much?

I wouldn't either if it was an orange locked one.

But with the new firmware update, most of the problems people have been complaining about seem to have been fixed.

I'm male, although white looks slicker, it will inevitably darken and dirty over time without a cover. Hence I'd choose black.

I'm tending towards the white but I think I being male might be laughed at by friends ...:o

I always go for black phones. I used to have a white w850i and after a few months it went a kind of grey colour.

If I were getting one I think I'd prefer the white.

That being said I have no intention of buying one. I think the hardware inside (namely the processor) is a bit dated.

been into Orange shop today and been told that they (the staff) have been told today that they will no longer be selling the N97 as they have not been able to sort the software issues.

Will probably all change tomorrow though........
