hope this helps someone.I just bought a 7inch twin screen in car dvd player in toys r us for 129.99.(not a well known brand - Designer version but at that price who cares.) The big benefit of this for us is you can plug in a games console and 1 screen can watch a movie and another can play a game(or another movie if we take a PS2!!!!)With 5 kids this really helps on long journeys. To make things even better when we got to the till the sunday newspapers had published a brochure which had a £10 off coupon so we got it for £119.99!!
This was the store in Belfast Northern Ireland.cant find it on their website so not sure if it exclusive to there.0 -
Just collected mine from Makro.
Doesnt seem to want to play my DVDR+ that I've used to record from the TV. Pre-recorded DVDs play ok
Gets to about 3/4 through the disc and gives up.
Any help, tweaks please
Other than that is a great machine for the price

You have to make sure that you dont try to get too much on a dvdrw ie dont have quality setting more than 3hrs, cos it causes problemsStephenT wrote:Just collected mine from Makro.

I bought one of the Tech lux ones and have one problem. It appears to me that I don't have the correct cable to connect the two screens.
The cable has 2 leads at one end ( a black and a blue pin style) and the other end as ordinary red yellow and white leads ( i think they are called cinch connections)
Did anyone else who bought this get the same - the 3 lead side doesn't seem to fit at all.
Ay help appreciated0 -
Worked out the cable I have is for connecting to TV. Cable to connect to other screen is missing0

if you live anywhere near walsall, there is a argos clearance centre selling twin screen in car dvd for 89.99 and you can plug a console into the one screen whilst the other child watches a film. I got it to keep the kids quiet on a long journey but let them watch ice age and they were laughing so loud i wish they had gob silencers aswell as headphones lol0
