I think you can buy two separate portable DVD players for less than that now...
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Yes but for some strange reason a seperate screen costs more than a seperate DVD player, & the cheaper dvd players don't have a video input, so I think you'll be hard pushed to get a better deal if you want to play one dvd on 2 screens.
I did check this out a couple of months ago when I bought the tesco £49.99 7" dvd, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!

also be wary that it only comes with in car charger, no mains charger or battery so it literally is 'in-car' unlike som of the other makes or styles
  • Roger,
Of course you can . For example portable DVD players from £25 each here

But if you want a proper `in car` system you will not find a better deal than this I don`t think

+ vat + post probably nearer £40 by the time you receive it, then it's only a 4.5" screen

Go for two seperate ones every time, even if they cost more, it aint worth the possible arguements over who gets to watch what!

    Trust me on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For a dual 4.5 screen player with seperate inputs (to allow a games console on one for example) then Asda have the venturer one in for £79 - saw it yesterday
They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.

They have a similar Goodmans twin 7" screen product in Makro at the moment for £89.99 + vat which has an optional accessory pack for £19.99 that includes a rechageable battery pack and mains adapter.

Only of use though if you have a Makro card, though they're not that hard to come by.

(Makromail 9 pages 17-32) Not sure if you can access the link without the email invitation, apologies if not.

The link does work Madcow, thanks. I looks a good price as well since it is £149 at ebuyer. Does anyone know if you can connect a PS2 to this system. I've been hanging on waiting to buy ready for the summer hols, but I want to be able to use the PS2 on journeys as well.

    cool, thanks madcow,

the goodmans one is on the back page of the macromail catalogue, i'm severly tempted to go and get one

Jota, you can probably connect a PS2 to it, most of the extra screens i've seen (infact all of them) use a single yellow (composite) connector for video for the screens

just use a lead for your PS2 that has that connector on!
    money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)
