You are SO gonna regret getting a twin screen /single player.
Get 2, 7" ones everytime............trust me!
You can still play psp's on two seperate players.0 -
The problem with 2 diffferent dvd's going at the same time is how annoying it will be for the front passenger and driver listening to different film tracks. I think it will distracting enough with one.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

Trust me on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny, a friend of mine found the exact opposite... He changed two individual 7" ones for a twin screen jobbie...
Reason being (he said) was that one kid would inevitably start wanting to watch what the other one was watching and unless you had two copies of each film there were always arguments... added to that the requirement for 2 power leads trailing to the front of the car.
He also mentioned that the twin screen one that he bought (can't remember the make, sorry) had everything neatly packaged away in its own bag and was far more convenient.
Haven't yet decided myself between 2 x separate or a twin screen... pros and cons of each, but I suspect a twin screen would suit us better.Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0 -

The £99 7" Hitachi is a superb quality looking classy item, from argos, I bought one for £89 in Christmas promotion.Didn't come with a car lead though!
I also bought the 7" Warfedale as a comparrison for £71,(£89 now) again on promotion at Christmas.
Both excellent quality, but the Hitachi has the name and looks!
Get at least 7" as the actual bulk of any player ,with a sreen of smaller size, is the same.........a 5-6" player is the same size box as a 7" player.
I have a DVD+rw and its superb to watch them on a portable dvd player.0 -

There's nothing to stop you taking the output of one dvd and inputing it to the second..........easy! And you can get car cigarette doublers!0 -
Not necesserily, as many (probably most) portable single DVD players do not have any kind of input. So cannot play another DVD player, games console etc. I returned my Goodman's 7" DVD players from Tesco for this reason. I think the DVD player from Ebuyer may be the same, please check.0

Just ordered the Goodmans twin screen player with adapters for £126 using the 30% off new customers code (check the discount/vouchers thread). Price should be similar to the mackro offer without a 35 mile round trip in my case. Hope it helps someone else toying with this offer.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0
