sony ericsson guarantee?

My mobile has stopped working, It's over a year old but I remember reading on this forum about 2 years ago that sony ericsson will give extended guarantee. Does anyone know the address and if this is still true?

I believe SE's come with a 24 month warranty. If you still have the originl receipt (or contract/upgrade paperwork) take it into a carphone warehouse repair centre and they should do it.

I've done it on a phone over 12 months old that was out of contract.

Me too. Though when taking it to cpw for repair you can expect a wrecked phone worse than you started with and endless "repairs" for weeks on end. Cpw can probably damage a phone which doesn't work!
