Ryanair advice please

I have three flights booked in October. My son (who is 14) has decided he would like to bring his friend with him on holiday. The problem is Ryanair's website will not allow me to book a flight for his friend as he is under 16 and does not appear to be travelling with an adult.

Is there anyway round this or can anyone give me any advice. If I can wait and get a cheap flight is it worth me booking 2 seats including one for me and I will not travel on the first booking?

Just book him as an adult, ive done this before when my family members have flown back to sweden after a visit.

Remember they will need some evidence that you are allowed to take this kid on holiday with you, you will also need something to prove your relationship to this child when you arrive back in the UK, as question could/should be asked my immigration

We had same prob as my step son wanted to bring his girlfriend who is under 16 to our August hols so we phoned customer service (the uk number on their site) and made the booking. It was a seperate bokking number but obviously for same flights as us.

    Good luck

Thanks for your advice. Did you do online check in with this though? Will this not cause me a problem doing this now?
