Best camera phone

I'm looking for opinions on the best camera phone. I have a sony ericsson k800i which I've had for 2 years and is on the way out so I need to get a good replacement. I only use the phone for calls and texting and then as a camera. I don't like touchscreen phones and I like the way you just have to raise the lens protector to enable the camera on the K800. A xenon flash or similar is important as I rarely use my proper camera. I'm not overly concerned about mp as long as there is a decent flash & lens. I've discounted the C905 due to its unreliability. So does anyone have one they'd recommend?

I thought all the sony camera phones started with a c and that the w prefixes were for the walkman phones

That is true, but the W995i marks a change in direction as it does contain an 8MP camera from the C905, although has an LED flash and not Xenon. Sony will soon be changing the C/W nomenclature as all their new phones will just be marketed as all rounders, rather than sticking to one specialitiy.

As for best camera phones. If you want a change from Sony, there's the Nokia N86 (8MP camera), Omnia/Pixon, and if you're willing to wait, the new Samsung Pixon II, which will have a 12MP cam with a decent lens.

Pixon's not bad, but I seem to have problems with it - I get a lot of blurry pics, tried changing everything around, shame as when I do get a clear pic, they're lovely.

The c and w prefixes are going to be done away with before long anyway our sony ericsson rep informed me, why would they put a camera equiviling thier c dedicated range otherwise, if it was to be aimed as a walkman/movie phone?

I do have a c905, w995, Pixon, and a 10mp Sanyo camera, along with a c902. All have had thier good shots and bad, the 10mp Sanyo digital camera being the worst of the lot. Comparing the c905 to the Pixon, c905 won in camera quality, Pixon won in video quality, not done as much testing with the c905 vs w995 as of yet.
