I like to travel late at night or early in morning (5.30am on summer mornings is awesome when the sun comes up, steam rising off the ground and no trafffic). I also like obscure cross country B roads, which oddly don't seem to take proportionally longer than the motorway.
All because I hate congested mways.

Nice idea, but I've lost count of the number of times I've been sat in 2 mile+ tailbacks because the M6 has been put down to 1 lane overnight...I really must stop loafing and get back to work...0 -
To put in perspective how much I loathe the M6 and its endless delays, I know every A route (and some B & C routes) from the M6 toll to the A55 in North Wales. I can now get off at any junction and find my way to North Wales without a map0
