Unlock Nokia 3310.

I have tried to unlock a Nokia 3310, locked to Tesco, using a code from
unlock.nokiafree.org which appears to have worked because the specified
response ie "Sim restriction off" was shown on the screen.

However despite this the phone will not accept a current vodafone sim saying "sim card not accepted" suggesting it has not unlocked.

Has anyone any ideas why this happens?

I would appreciate any help.

the phone must have 2 locks on only orange put 2 locks on maybe tesco have done the same

as petermann3 says, a lock is still on
make sure you put codes 1 & 2 in

to both petermann3 and drahcir, following your advice I think you've cracked it.

I wondered what that second code was for. All the signs now are that it is unlocked.

you can post in te sticky at the top or you can download the calc yourself from the link i the 1st post of the nokia unlocking sticky but some of the settings may be wrong
