I used a friend's work number. eBay Live Help told me I could use a payphone, but I couldn't get it to work. The View Belongs To Everyone0

Have you got a mobile that can go online? If so, find a phonebox, give them that number and do the stuff in the box.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

If they can't get through on your phone number (maybe you got two numbers the wrong way round
) then they send you a letter with a code in instead, does take 2-3 weeks to arrive though. 0 -
I have a friend with the same problem, she is thinking of using her mothers number the house is less than a mile away would this work or would ebay know it wasn't the correct address?
It certainly isn't worth installing a landline as she uses a mobile and gets broadband via a 3mobile dongle0 -
simplest way around it is to get a virtual phone number otherwise known as a ghost number, it's a landline service that diverts to a mobile, costs around £3 per month try Tamar telecommunications i've used them in the past, not for ebay but there is no way they can tell it is diverting so it will work.
if you don’t have a credit or debit card get a prepaid MasterCard, as long as you register it to your address it will work.0 -
or just go to a friends house who has a pc and landline and do it there.................. leave it 10 days then change your address to where you liveEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

Someone else already suggested sipgate, I have an 0191 virtual number from them which was free, pretty sure there were a whole host of STD codes available at sign up and they ring straight through to your PC.====0

Well i have tried the direct debit way instead, although my bank today said nothing has been confirmed yet. I await.Owed out = lots. :cool:0
