how to heat home

I am in the looking into installing a new heating system in a rented property and seek some advice.

I have a 2 bed bungalow let to a single mum and her young daughter, it is heated by night storage heaters and has an emersion for hot water. the home is double glazed and meets the current regs for insulation, ie cavity and attic.

there is gas so gas CH is one option, i have read a little about the so called 1p an hour rads, and wondered about ground or air source heat pumps. i also live next door and have a 4 year old combi system.

thoughts are to cheapness of installation and serviceing for me and reasonable running costs for them, to a more expensive system instal now and really low running costs for both households in the future.

any thoughts or experience on please, and do any grants exist.

Dont believe the 1p an hour rads, its utter rubbish.

Do a quick search on the forum on these heaters.
