I am currently with Orange.
I consider myself to be a light user (about £ 10 per month)
I am currently being charged:
Orange - Orange - 20p min.
Orange - Landline - 35p min.
Orange - Other network - 50p min.
Text - 12p
I am considering Tesco or Asda Lite tariffs.
Are these the best ones around at the moment or are there others?
I am not sure where go to get impartial advice from.
Many Thanks. S.B

They are probaly the two best light user tariffs around.
If you dont want to use it for Data either the Tesco running over o2 or Asda running over Voda are much the same. If you need to use Data Asda is cheaper.
Free Tesco Lite sim here: http://www.tesco.com/mobilenetwork/payasyougo.aspx?page=840 -
An alternative is Ikea, slightly more expensive than Asda / Tesco, but can be managed online, excellent service, they use the T Mobile network.

Since you are on Orange - change over to their Animal packages on Pay as you go [i think it can be changed by calling 343 from the specific orange phone]. I think the one you want is Raccoon [calls are 15p per minute and texts are 10 pence]. That is if you want to stay with Orange. If not O2 are quite good in respect of Bolt-On bundles. However if you are just looking for the cheapest for calls consider Tesco Mobile, Asda Mobile and Blyk (where you get free calls for adverts).0
