item not recieved advice please.........

i won & paid for a item on 1st july, so far no sign of it , its not a very high priced item but i have asked the seller twice if its been posted and keep getting excuses as to why it has not,( could be genuine reasons) the thing is i have checked their feedback and other buyers after my win have had their items, i dont want to be a pain but how long should i wait,????

You have waited enough time.
Have you tried ringing them?
If you still feel you're not getting anywhere, open an item not receieved dispute. (I assume you paid with paypal?)

It has been 20 days already so I would now open a full chargeback via paypal for item not receievd. The seller still then has 10 days to get the item to you which will be plenty of time.

I think it may be time to start the item not received process. It's really quick and easy and it can motivate sellers in ways mere emails do not.

It's been almost 3 weeks, and you've enquired politely twice - to no avail.

How long is it since the last email contact you had with this seller?

What I mean is has there been enough time for them to post the item, and for it to get to you since you last spoke to them?

i paid with paypal straight after i won, i 1st got a message about 3 days later saying the item would be posted in a few days time, when it didnt arrive i asked if it had been posted yet & was told child had been ill & would be posted the next day, still nothing so i asked again & was told child still ill & a new born baby & would be posted soon, i had a weird feeling about this from the 1st message as i was thanked for payment ect but also told they would get tracking number for 2nd class standard?????? so any probs in delivery they could find item, i didnt think you got tracking with 2nd class standard,

message from the seller on 10/07 saying item would be posted on the tues 1st class.the next was on the 17/07 saying item had still not been posted!!

Just start a chargeback you have waited long enough.

thanks for the advice i will start a chargeback, but if the item appears what do i do if i have already been refunded?

A paypal chargeback takes at least 10 days to resolve so if item arrives and you are happy before the chargeback closes just cancel the chargeback.

If chargeback closes and you are refunded and you then get the item you can arrange to repay the seller or ask her to arrange to collect the goods.

hi, just a quick update, still not had the item, or a refund ( even though i have asked the seller), anyway eventually got a message tonight..... it seems the ill son is now in hospital really ill and they have not checked their computer for about a week ............. thing is they have listed another 50 items in the last few days & had feedback for items won after mine........ im annoyed its like they think im stupid !!!!!!!!!! they also want my e mail so they can refund,i didnt think i needed to, as i paid through paypal so why cant they refund through paypal???

They can refund the original payment through Paypal. Sounds like more stalling tatics
