Can anyone clarify point 10 on the T&Cs?
Excludes the purchase of gift vouchers using gift vouchers as a method of payment.
Is this just saying that you can't buy vouchers using vouchers or the free voucher offer is excluded from purchases of gift vouchers?0 -
you can buy gift vouchers with cash/card and get the free vouchers. You can then spend these vouchers and get more free vouchers BUT you have to but actual items not just more vouchers, otherwise you would get into a 'loop' and bankrupt Argos! I know people here seem to have a love/hate relationship with the shop but I'm sure no one would like to see it close entirely!

I know the offer ends this week, but does any argos staff on here know if they are extending the offer like they done last year?
Also, can anyone confirm they have purchased vouchers and got the 'free voucher'?
as I'm looking to buy a hob, oven and hood at £300 in total
ThanxBut first, the most asked question:
Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"
A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."0 -
Yeah me too well wardrobes really. As you can tell by my sig, I'm buying a house so every little bit helps!!0

I pre-ordered nintendo wii form Argos online yesterday for £179 and it said I would be receiving £10 in vouchers.
Had no idea that I would be getting these so nice surprise.

Well I'd like to know if you could've bought £100 of vouchers, got £10 back in a voucher and then bought £50 of vouchers and got a £5 voucher back and then paid for you Nintendo with a total of £165 worth of vouchers and then paid the difference therefore making your total spend £164 instead of £179.0

That wouldn't be possible over a website transaction

been into argos today, you CANNOT buy £100 of vouchers and get £10 voucher free. Because when you then pay for the Actual item with vouchers you would get another £10.
Argos have covered this loophole.
Was gettin an xbox 360 and using my firends employee 10% off code.
i could only get 10% off and a £10 gift vouchersomething missing0 -
I went in this afternoon. Bought £300 worth of giftcards (Guess what people are getting for Christmas this year!). I received £30 of free gift cards.amb47uk wrote:been into argos today, you CANNOT buy £100 of vouchers and get £10 voucher free. The SA was about to go off shift, and made a bit of a mess of things. I ended up with to total made up of £10, £90, £100 and 2 times £50. The till locked up, so I ended up being served by 3 members of staff using 2 tills.
However, the main point is that you can get the £10 extra free when you buy gift vouchers. I fully intend to get an extra 10% on any that I spend in the offer period as well. 20% saving is even better.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.
