proceedure should be that you would be asked for the voucher back, or if you did not have it on you the value of the voucher would be deducted from the total amount refunded

you could take the item back after the promotion is finished without the receipt (as this shows that you have had the gift voucher issued) and then you are issued with gift vouchers to the value of the goods.

This site is called "money saving expert" NOT "compay defrauding expert" what you are suggesting is, if not illegal, cetainly not ethical and even if it were it is still certainly not in the spirit of the site. I strongly suggest people do not try this - do you really want to be that sort of person?

I spent a fortune in argos on friday for items for my newly decorated bathroom. I will probably buy the same items when the gift voucher promotion is on and then take them back with the receipt for the goods i got on friday.

not only is what you are plotting fraudulent, but it should not work.

the store would expect you to have a valid proof of purchase to prove that the items were purchased during the promotion. proving whether or not you received the vocuhers is another issue entirely, as the till automatically prompts the cashier to issue it.

I want to buy something for £99.99 will I get £10 or do I have to find some thing else to push me over £100? Anyone know what the cheapest thing in the catalogue is?
